Engaging with Climate Change in the Outer Hebrides through arts, language, heritage, culture and community.
Làn Thìde is a collective of arts, heritage, community, environmental and third sector organisations based in the Outer Hebrides. The network was established as part of the Climate Beacon programme established by Creative Carbon Scotland and aims to create a programme of public engagement focused on climate change and developed with community collaboration at its core.
We Have No Words
We Have No Words is a feature documentary and collaborative community arts project exploring the relationship between language, art, music and the climate crisis on the Isles of Lewis and Harris in the Outer Hebrides.
The project seeks to both explore and develop the ways in which local communities, faced with the ever present manifestation of anthropogenic climate change, experience these changes and work to communicate their emotions and experiences through words.
