Community Engagement in Landscape Change: Pairc Pilot Report
The report on a pilot project, carried out in the Pairc area, has just been produced. The project looked at the importance of the landscape and area to the people living there. The value of their lived space.
The community engagement project was delivered for NatureScot and was a collaboration between UHI Outer Hebrides, the Pairc Trust and local artist, Sandra Kennedy.
The project focused on journalling as a way to inspire people to connect, which enabled them to write poems, thoughts and reflections, as well as draw and sketch scenes of the landscape around them, all guided by creative prompts from Sandra.
The project aims to continue to explore the importance of place and community.
